Notes Content
- The notes you create within the extension
- All note content is encrypted on your device before being stored
Google Account Information (Optional)
- If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture URL
- This information is used solely for authentication and displaying your profile in the extension
Information Automatically Collected
URL Information
- We process the URLs of pages where you create notes to associate notes with specific pages
- URLs are normalized (tracking parameters removed) and used as identifiers
- We do NOT collect or store your browsing history
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service - Store and retrieve your notes associated with web pages
- Enable Cloud Sync - Sync your encrypted notes across devices (when signed in)
- Personalize Experience - Remember your theme and settings preferences
Data Storage and Security
End-to-End Encryption
- All notes are encrypted on your device using AES-256 encryption before transmission
- Your encryption key is derived from your unique user identifier
- We cannot read your notes—only you can decrypt them
Cloud Storage
- Encrypted notes are stored in Google Firebase Firestore
- Firebase provides enterprise-grade security and compliance
Data Sharing
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your data with advertisers
- Use your data for targeted advertising
- Track your browsing activity
Your Rights
- Access - View all your notes in the extension dashboard
- Deletion - Delete individual notes or all data anytime
- Opt-Out - Use without signing in (local storage only)
