Description of Service
Page Notes is a browser extension that allows you to:
- Create and store notes associated with specific web pages
- Sync notes across devices using Google Sign-In (optional)
- Organize notes with multiple tabs per page
- Format notes with rich text, tables, code blocks, and images
User Accounts
Google Sign-In
- Cloud sync requires signing in with a Google account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
Without Sign-In
- You may use the extension without signing in
- Notes will be stored locally in your browser
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Page Notes to:
- Store content that violates any applicable law
- Store malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Store content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
Intellectual Property
Your Content
- You retain all rights to the notes and content you create
- You grant us a limited license to store and transmit your encrypted content solely to provide the service
Data and Security
- Notes are encrypted on your device before cloud storage
- While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee against data loss
- We recommend keeping local backups of important notes
Disclaimers
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are NOT liable for loss of data or business opportunities
Termination
By You
You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it.
By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.
Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Check the "Last Updated" date for the latest version
